Hello and thank you for visiting our website. 

 I am Sheldon Barclay, Sales Representative of Prudential Grand Valley Realty. It was my pleasure to align myself with a solid Company that was a recipient of several past JD Power Awards for Customer Service. I am a firm believer that we should associate ourselves with a company that share the same or similar value. 

My first 11 years of employment were spent in the automotive manufacturing industry. But given the past recession, that came to a disappointing end, to which most of this area’s residents can attest.
I joined the Real Estate profession in 2004, due in part to my wife who was already 8 years practicing. So, the talk was always around the dinner table.
I grew up in the Caribbean and moved to Canada over 21 years ago. I became a proud Canadian at my earliest eligibility, 3 years later! 
I have received many sales awards with Home Life Realty and for the past two years at Prudential (2009 and 2010); I have been a member of the Leading Edge Society. This is awarded to the top 7 % of Prudential Sales agents in North America.
Education is the key to performing well in this Industry and as such, several times a year, time is spent in the class room, on construction sites learning the principles of building, at the City Planning office, and in Real estate seminars & online courses. I have worked in new construction sales for over 4 years and I am also very versed in selling used homes (Resale homes) with a very detailed, analytical approach.
I pride myself in preparation. My early school motto has never left my ears. It was recited for 5 years, “Always be prepared for action”.
I am a husband to a kind, beautiful and smart wife and a father to two awesome daughters.
